She’s the One
This of course is a somewhat foolish question.
My own choice would be the slightly overlong:
Kylie Minogue – The One (Freemasons Vocal Club Mix)
Mostly because the man on his knees uses his body so well in expressing worship of the divine feminine. It helps that Kylie’s outfits are comparatively restrained. Zebra striped sunglasses would kill the mood.
I post this in hopes of seeing what other people might suggest as the music video most suggestive of male submission and female dominance.
Wow, that was amazing. I never saw it before and I absolutely loved it. It reminded me of the 70s and of the ecstatic feeling of dancing in those days in the clubs, of the movie Metropolis and of German photography in the early 30s, and of course Kylie Minogue has one of the most worship-worthy derrieres on the planet–I once extolled that bottom in the pages of Cheeks magazine when I was the editor. (I know she didn’t show her butt in this video, but once seen, never forgotten. Here we got to enjoy the calm regal quality of her face, lit to glamorous perfection.)
I may have to blog about this video myself…we’ll see. But in any case, thank you Eudaemonia for posting the link! And if I do blog on the subject, of course I will send my readers to your link.
I’m a dance pop fan and was watching Kylie visits at the time this came out. I played it incessantly for a short while.
