ALthough subtle in terms of BDSM and femdom another fun aspect of being with an older lady is when she may use you as a "trophy partner. Once an older lady I was with got me to do a striptease for her friends- her friends thought I was just a hired stripper not her BF. .

I married a woman 7 1/2 years older than me. I'm happiest when she demands I wear my CB3000 continously. She has slowly increased every year and this year i will have worn it about half the time. I love her even more when she is bossy.

Most of my Mistresses have been older women, I find older women more interesting in general than silly giggly girls. I think though apart from the typical school mistress fantasies that most boys have it is because my personality is somewhat "older" than my peer group so it just feels right.

Before my wife determined that I would become her maid, she was 48 years old. She was active beyond any younger women I had known and far, far more demanding and controlling. An older woman who enjoys her superiority and extending this over a man... is the best that there can possibly be.

Axe, there is a lot of evidence for your assertion that "most women seem to discover their dominance later in life." It seems true in my observations.

However, I am of a different generation. Women of my age were exposed to "women's liberation" in the 1960's and did not wind up as housewives like our parents did. They worked, and had their own careers and identified themselves with something other than homemaker and mother.

Mrs. Mule certainly fits this bill. However, being "mom" still has a big influence on a woman's life. Even being "dad" had a big influence on my life. Your life revolves around your children. Your friends are chosen by your children (inevitably the parents of their classmates). You feel the obligation to be their coaches, chauffeurs, tutors, and various other roles, which although are fun, demand time and concentration.

I think it was I who suffered more from the "empty nest" syndrome when the kids went off to college.

The point is, when the kids start going out on their own, parents find that they have more time to think about themselves and rediscover themselves. In the case of Mrs. Mule and me, we were married in our very early 20's (she was 20 I was barely 22) so our personalities were not completely developed, including our sexuality.

Being able to semi-retire from parenthood allowed us both to explore ourselves and take the next step in our maturing process. I think our case is fairly typical of people of our generation. So it was not unusual for a woman of 40 or 50 to suddenly "find herself" after putting herself on hold for 20 years of being "mom."

I am not so sure if this theory holds any validity for the generations who followed us. For one thing, information is much more readily available in this "information age." The social revolution that started in the 1960's is more complete, and although there are individual holdouts, stereotypes based on gender or race or whatever isn't acceptable in mainstream anymore. It's a lot easier to be who you want to be than it was in 1950.

My observations are based on Mrs. Mule and several other women I know. They are all approximately my age. I would like to hear from those with a different experience.

Joscelin has officially declared me to be "the pale." You know, the pale that dating anyone older than me would be going beyond. I'm not really old enough to be a cougar, but yeah. Finding dominant women his age (24) is difficult.

Most women seem to discover their dominance later in life. Few women have it as part of who they are from the start. At least from the dominant women I've talked to.

It seems only natural that many younger guys will look for a dominant woman and then realize that it's easier to find one other than they are.

I know two submissive men who are with other women for that very reason and they seem very happy.
